How it works
Six principles behind the passport
Private by default
Your passport is yours. Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it.
Skill-specific
Each entry is one clearly described skill, not a broad course title.
Evidence-based
Every skill links to the practical work that demonstrated it.
Dated
Each entry records when the skill was demonstrated, so it stays current.
Verified where appropriate
Some skills are checked through assessed projects; the passport shows which.
Not a certificate collection
It shows what you can actually do, rather than which courses you finished.

Why it’s different
Not the same as collecting certificates
A certificate usually says
- You completed a course
- On a certain date
- Covering a broad topic
A Skills Passport entry says
- Exactly which skill you demonstrated
- At what level, with the evidence
- When, and whether it was verified
